Fresh Batch, posted weekly, keeps you up to date on the hottest releases of the upcoming week.

Flavor of the week:

Daughter of Deep Silence
Carrie Ryan
Publication date: May 26th 2015
by Dutton Books for Young Readers

Goodreads Purchase

I’m the daughter of murdered parents.
I’m the friend of a dead girl.
I’m the lover of my enemy.
And I will have my revenge.

In the wake of the devastating destruction of the luxury yacht Persephone, just three souls remain to tell its story—and two of them are lying. Only Frances Mace knows the terrifying truth, and she’ll stop at nothing to avenge the murders of everyone she held dear. Even if it means taking down the boy she loves and possibly losing herself in the process.

Sharp and incisive, Daughter of Deep Silence by bestselling author Carrie Ryan is a deliciously smart revenge thriller that examines perceptions of identity, love, and the lengths to which one girl is willing to go when she thinks she has nothing to lose.

  1. Madiha @ Symphony of Words

Oh my! I tried to snag an eArc of The Cage but was unsuccessful, which is why I cannot wait to start reading it when it finally comes out in the flesh! Also, PS I Still Love You and Nowehere But Here are two titles I have been lusting after for quite a while! They’re finally here, yay!

  2. Cynthia

Daughter of deep silence is on my TBR for sure!! I used to read VC Andrews all the time, but then I realized all the new ones weren’t even by her because she died. And they all ended up being the same story.

  3. Kayla @ The Thousand Lives

I’ve preordered Nowhere but Here and PS I Still Love You – can’t wait to read both! I’m going back and forth on Immaculate; I may just borrow a copy from someone/somewhere since I’m really not sure I want to spend the money on it!

  4. Kelsey

I’ve read Immaculate and it was actually really good! A few of these are on my library hold list, and a few I still have ARCS for that I haven’t read yet because they were gifts and I didn’t have the time before release. It seems like this Summer and even Fall will have lots of awesome books!
